Model foundations and the three statements

Module 01 / 5 · 60 min · Free preview

Set up a clean, auditable spreadsheet and link the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement from Ethiopian IFRS accounts.

In this module you will learn to

  • Lay out a model to the FAST standard with separate inputs, calculations and outputs
  • Use consistent formulas, named ranges and error checks that make a model easy to review
  • Link the three statements so that the balance sheet balances and cash reconciles
  • Recognize the IFRS treatments common in Ethiopian accounts: revaluation, IFRS 16 leases and the hyperinflation question
