Capstone project
Culture Improvement Action Plan for your workplace
Develop and implement a Culture Improvement Action Plan for your own workplace, or for Entoto Star Logistics PLC if you are not currently employed, using the culture-action-plan.xlsx workbook. You diagnose the current culture with evidence, choose two or three priorities, translate your values into observable behaviors, plan actions with named owners, dates, costs and measures, start implementation and report a 90-day review. The capstone tests everything in the course: influence, excellence, ethics, inclusion, coaching and sustaining culture.
- 1Diagnose: run a short anonymous pulse survey (or use the workbook's sample), and record favorable scores, eNPS, turnover, absenteeism and one operational measure, with the gap to target for each theme, in the Diagnosis sheet.
- 2Prioritize: score candidate actions for impact and ease, and choose two or three priorities that link culture to a business result.
- 3Set values to behaviors: for each priority value, write two or three observable behaviors 'we do' and one 'we no longer accept', and note which system (hiring, appraisal, recognition) must change to support them.
- 4Plan actions: list 8 to 15 actions with one named owner, start and due dates, cost and the measure each should move, and check the total against your budget.
- 5Engage: present the plan to your manager and team, involve staff representatives where shifts or work rules change, appoint peer champions and agree how progress will be shown.
- 6Implement and track: update action status and the engagement measures monthly in the workbook.
- 7Review at 90 days: compare each measure with baseline and target, record what worked and what did not, and set the next 90-day priorities.
